Business Moment:   Problems Can Be Solve

There is a well-known story about a farmer who for many, many years had plowed around a large rock in his garden.  He had in fact broken several pieces of equipment in the past when the rock was struck.  Every time he came to the rock, he was concerned about how it was impacting his ability to utilize his entire field for planting and the potential cost of repairs to damaged equipment.

Finally he had enough.  He decided to dig the rock up and put things behind him.  Studying the situation, he decided to put a very large crowbar on one side to see if he could move the rock and finally discover how much of an issue he was to have.  To his surprise, he found that the rock was less than two feet thick.  After some diligent work, he had the rock out of the way and loaded in a cart to carry to another location.  He shook his head and smiled as he thought about how this small rock had caused him so much pain and expense over the years.

Not every problem you undertake will be as easily settled as the farmer found.  The bigger issue is to take action when confronted with a problem and find a solution.  Simply ignoring a problem will not make it go away.  Thus face those challenging issues head on and use the tools you need to enable you to find a solution that allows you to move forward.  It just might be much easier than you think.

Feature Article:  Worry, The Widow Maker

American humorist Evan Esar said, “Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”  In fact, of all the worries, studies have shown that 40% of worries are about the past; 50% are about the future; and, 10% deal with what is facing us today:  the current situation.  Is it any wonder that worry can cause all sorts of challenges for you?

Worry affects circulation, the heart, glands, nervous system and your mental fitness.  It can alter a personality as well as challenge a career and destroy a family.  Worry can consume your psyche so much that the mere fact of your worry about what you do not want to happen can actually increase the odds that it will.  In finality, worry will not add one day to your life.  So, why worry?... Click Here to Read More

Energy Leadership: Mastering Your Life

Energy Leadership

What is a master? It is someone who resonates with success. It's a person who's mindset automatically attracts the right people, places, events, and opportunities, and the same mindset allows that allows the person to jump all over all of those opportunities with gusto, and without fear or hesitation.

I believe that while each of us can do many things well, there is really only one thing that we can truly master, and ironically, while it takes a lot of effort to become a master in what you do, there is no real effort necessary in the thing we can truly master, which is being who we are

Each of us has a very unique makeup. That makeup, at its core, is perfect, and when we tap into our true core, our real gift to the world is revealed. When you share your true gift with the world, you can be considered a Self-Master.

Self-Mastery is made up of 3 parts:

Understanding that each of us has a unique gift offering to the world, and that such an offering comes when we are truly authentic.

Discovering (remembering) what exactly is our truly authentic self.

Sharing who we are with the world, in a way that only we can....Click Here to Read More
